We are looking for a lead to own the hands-on engineering and operation of core infrastructure — systems, cloud, and networks — leading a team that builds, secures, and runs the platforms everything else depends on.
We are looking for a lead to own the hands-on engineering and operation of core infrastructure — systems, cloud, and networks — leading a team that builds, secures, and runs the platforms everything else depends on. The role owns architecture, IaC automation, resiliency, security, cost, observability, and CI/CD while mentoring engineers and driving cross-team platform standards. The strongest leads treat infrastructure as a product: reliable, observable, and optimized.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is AI-assisted, self-healing operations. Leading infrastructure orgs now apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options while keeping changes traceable and auditable, and use AI to predict failures and automate right-sizing. Applied well, AIOps cuts alert noise 85–95% and improves MTTR 40–60%.
The value this person brings is a reliable, secure, well-automated infrastructure foundation with strong technical leadership — where change is safe, auditable, and increasingly self-healing.
We are seeking a hands-on infrastructure leader who leads by example and holds a high bar for reliability, security, and cost. They mentor engineers, keep change disciplined and auditable, and drive platform standards across teams.
This is a lead-engineering profile that partners across infra / network / cloud engineers, security, SRE, and service management. It suits someone open to a hybrid engagement with on-site presence for data-center / secure work, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want is reliability-obsessed and automation-minded.
A strong candidate for this role has built and operated core infrastructure at scale and led a team doing the same — someone who has owned uptime, eliminated toil through automation, handled major outages, and set platform standards others follow. They bring an openness to AI-assisted remediation kept traceable and auditable.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see an infrastructure leader deeply fluent across systems, networks, and cloud, who automates by default and holds reliability, security, and cost as non-negotiable. They should be curious about AIOps for bounded, auditable remediation and failure prediction.

Infrastructure performance (KPIs from research)
Modern Agentic AI / AIOps (niche areas we are seeking — depth explored at interview)
This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
Areas to explore at interview *(topics only)*
Infrastructure engineering & operations leadership, reliability & capacity ownership, IaC & automation, security hardening
These niche AI areas are seeds we are looking for; depth will be explored during the interview process.
