We are looking for a lead to own the technical direction and delivery quality of an engineering capability — leading a team of engineers, setting standards, and driving architecture and delivery decisions.
We are looking for a lead to own the technical direction and delivery quality of an engineering capability — leading a team of engineers, setting standards, and driving architecture and delivery decisions. In 2026 this is increasingly an infrastructure-and-governance role: leading teams now includes owning architecture, technical strategy, evaluation, observability, and AI safety guardrails while coaching and growing engineers.
The defining shift for this seat is leading AI-assisted engineering with control. The strongest leads treat adoption of coding agents and agentic workflows as a governance problem — multi-agent orchestration, model routing, and runtime controls for non-deterministic systems used across the engineering org. Increasingly, agents are treated as digital workers that need onboarding, permissions, and human supervision, and the lead is accountable for what they produce.
The value this person brings is a high-performing engineering capability that ships reliably and adopts modern AI tooling with control — where guardrails, evaluation, and observability are part of how the team works, not an afterthought.
We are seeking an engineering leader who leads by example technically and develops the people around them. They communicate direction and trade-offs clearly, balance delivery speed with quality, and are comfortable owning both an architecture decision and a coaching conversation.
This is a lead-engineering profile that partners across engineers, product, architecture, DevOps / platform, and QA. It suits someone open to a hybrid or remote-first engagement, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want raises the bar for the whole team.
A strong candidate for this role has led an engineering capability end to end — someone who has set technical direction, raised code and pipeline quality, and mentored engineers to grow. They bring an openness to rolling out coding agents and agentic workflows with guardrails, and the discipline to keep non-deterministic systems observable and safe.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see an engineering leader with strong architecture and delivery depth who leads through people while staying hands-on, and who is actively bringing AI-assisted engineering into the team with guardrails and evaluation.
Core engineering
Delivery performance (KPIs from research)
Modern Agentic AI / AIOps (niche areas we are seeking — depth explored at interview)
This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:

These niche AI areas are seeds we are looking for; depth will be explored during the interview process.
