We are looking for a senior individual contributor to run and improve core infrastructure day to day — administering systems, cloud, and networks; monitoring through the NOC; and resolving incidents that keep platforms available. The role focuses on provisioning and maintaining cloud environments, implementing infrastructure-as-code, improving operational resilience, and supporting application teams with scalable platform capabilities.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is AIOps at the operational edge. NOC teams are drowning in alerts — research finds 77% of on-call teams get at least ten alerts a day while fewer than 30% are actionable — so the senior IC's real leverage is using AIOps to correlate signals, cut noise, and automate repetitive remediation, freeing senior time for the hard problems. AIOps typically cuts alert noise 85–95% and improves MTTR 40–60% when done well.
The value this person brings is reliable, secure, well-monitored infrastructure operations with senior depth and growing automation — acting as the escalation point that keeps platforms available.
We are seeking a reliable, methodical senior engineer who stays calm during incidents and reduces repetitive toil through automation. They document and escalate clearly, keep learning across infra domains, and are trusted as the go-to for complex operational issues.
This is a senior IC profile that partners across the infra team, NOC, security, and service desk. It suits someone open to a hybrid or on-site engagement depending on NOC / secure needs, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want is automation-minded and dependable.
A strong candidate for this role has administered and operated production infrastructure and been the escalation point for tough issues — someone who has automated routine work and improved monitoring coverage and resilience. They bring an openness to AIOps for correlation and bounded remediation.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see a hands-on senior engineer fluent across systems, cloud, and networks who automates routine toil and diagnoses complex issues methodically, and who is open to AIOps tooling for correlation and remediation.

Operations performance (KPIs from research)
Modern Agentic AI / AIOps (niche areas we are seeking — depth explored at interview)
This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
Areas to explore at interview *(topics only)*
Systems/cloud/network administration, NOC operations, incident resolution, automation, patching & hardening
These niche AI areas are seeds we are looking for; depth will be explored during the interview process.
