We are looking for a senior QA engineer / lead software tester — a hands-on senior individual contributor who designs and builds the hardest tests, owns automation for a product area, mentors other testers, and is the technical authority on quality within the team.
We are looking for a senior QA engineer / lead software tester — a hands-on senior individual contributor who designs and builds the hardest tests, owns automation for a product area, mentors other testers, and is the technical authority on quality within the team. This is depth-first: the person who catches the subtle bugs, builds durable automation, and sets the technical standard for how testing is done.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is agentic QA reshaping the day-to-day. Full agentic loops now plan what to test, generate tests, execute them, interpret failures, and heal broken selectors — often without a human in the loop for those steps. AI in QA generates tests, self-heals locators, detects flaky scripts, and ranks which regression tests run first. The senior tester's value moves up the stack: directing and verifying agent-authored tests, owning the hard exploratory and edge-case work, and keeping a human on consequential actions like defect filing and sign-off.
The value this person brings is deep technical quality — the toughest tests built and maintained, agentic tooling directed with a critical eye, and a standard the rest of the team levels up to.
We are seeking a deep, hands-on QA specialist — someone who designs and builds durable automation, hunts the subtle bugs, and mentors other testers while staying technical. They use agentic QA to handle the mechanical work and reinvest their judgment in edge cases and verification.
This profile partners across engineering, product, and other QA / test roles. It suits someone open to a hybrid or remote-first engagement, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want is the technical quality authority on the team.
A strong candidate for this role has operated as a senior/lead tester — someone who has built durable automation, designed hard test scenarios, mentored testers, and set the technical quality standard. They bring the judgment to direct agentic QA tooling while owning verification and the hard cases.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see a senior tester with strong automation engineering and exploratory depth who can mentor and set standards, and who directs agentic QA tooling critically. The strongest candidates understand where AI accelerates testing and where human judgment stays essential.

This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
