We are looking for a senior architect to own design authority for systems within their domain — producing target-state designs, reference patterns, and non-functional guarantees (scalability, security, resilience, cost) that delivery teams build against. The role spans multiple architecture domains and is expected to make sound cross-domain trade-offs and defend them to engineers and executives — translating a vague executive goal into a concrete architecture: which data sources feed the system, which platform hosts it, where guardrails sit, and what the cost profile looks like at scale.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is designing for AI-native, agentic workloads from the start. Modern architecture briefs now call for enterprise-grade agentic systems with multi-agent workflows, tool-using agents, RAG, planning, memory, evaluation, guardrails, policy enforcement, and failure containment. Increasingly the role fuses architecture with security: designing a secure AI platform while governing the data that flows through AI agents and services.
The value this person brings is robust, secure, cost-aware architecture that scales — and that is ready to run AI-augmented workloads under control, with guardrails and observability designed in rather than bolted on.
We are seeking a senior architect with genuine design authority — someone whose target-state designs get adopted and who can defend hard trade-offs credibly to both engineers and business leaders. They are pragmatic, security- and cost-aware, and a strong systems thinker who avoids over-engineering while thinking long term.
This is a senior architecture profile that partners across engineering, security, data/platform, product, and delivery. It suits someone open to a hybrid or remote-first engagement, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want treats guardrails, cost profile, and failure containment as first-class parts of a design.
A strong candidate for this role has produced designs that teams actually built and operated — someone who has owned non-functional requirements and arbitrated trade-offs spanning infrastructure, cloud, security, and data. They bring an openness to designing governed, AI-ready patterns and the credibility to hold the line on security and cost.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see an architect with breadth across cloud, infrastructure, security, and data who carries the depth to make and defend sound trade-offs. They should treat AI as an architectural concern — governed, observable, containable patterns — rather than a bolt-on, and think in terms of the cost profile at scale.

This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
Areas to explore at interview *(topics only)*
Domain & cross-domain architecture, reference patterns, non-functional requirement ownership, design governance
These niche AI areas are seeds we are looking for; depth will be explored during the interview process.
