We are looking for a senior technical writer to own documentation as a system — planning, creating, maintaining, and governing high-quality technical content that enables customers, partners, and internal teams to adopt, use, integrate, and troubleshoot software products.
We are looking for a senior technical writer to own documentation as a system — planning, creating, maintaining, and governing high-quality technical content that enables customers, partners, and internal teams to adopt, use, integrate, and troubleshoot software products. This is a senior individual contributor who turns "we should document that" into an actual documentation system, works directly with SMEs and engineers, and improves documentation processes across teams.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is twofold. First, writers are expected to use AI aggressively to scale documentation — reading source code, writing sample apps, and reviewing pull requests — while maintaining surgical precision and technical accuracy. Second, documentation now has a machine audience: senior writers proactively audit content against AI-readiness standards, prioritizing improvements by impact and usage so that AI systems can consume and surface it correctly. The judgment work — interviewing engineers, testing flows, challenging vague assumptions, and deciding what deserves permanent documentation — remains human.
The value this person brings is a governed, accurate, AI-ready documentation system that scales — built with AI leverage but held to a human standard of precision and usefulness.
We are seeking a senior writer who builds documentation systems, not just pages — someone fluent with SMEs and code, disciplined about style and structure, and already using AI to scale output while owning accuracy. They think about both human readers and the AI systems that now consume docs.
This profile partners across engineering, product, and support teams, and mentors junior writers. It suits someone open to a hybrid or remote-first engagement, and to mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want makes documentation a reliable, scalable asset.
A strong candidate for this role has owned documentation areas and systems — someone who has planned and governed content, worked with SMEs and code, enforced style and structure, and mentored junior writers. They bring an openness to AI-scaled documentation while owning precision and AI-readiness.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see a senior writer fluent in docs-as-code, content systems, and standards who can work with code and SMEs, and who uses AI to scale while owning precision and AI-readiness. The strongest candidates treat documentation as a system with both human and machine audiences.

This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Technical Recruitment stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
