Executive Administration
We are looking for a technology-delivery executive who owns the end-to-end delivery of programs across multiple teams, product lines, and geographies — the leader who converts enterprise strategy into an executable roadmap with named owners, funded milestones, and measurable checkpoints.
We are looking for a technology-delivery executive who owns the end-to-end delivery of programs across multiple teams, product lines, and geographies — the leader who converts enterprise strategy into an executable roadmap with named owners, funded milestones, and measurable checkpoints. This is a VP-level mandate: accountable at once for delivery outcomes, budgets, service models, margin, and the health of the organization that produces the work. The role sits where technology strategy meets commercial reality, and it is judged on predictable, high-quality delivery at scale rather than on any single project win. Current VP-of-technology role descriptions frame the seat as owning the strategic direction and management of the enterprise's technology initiatives, not merely running a delivery back office.
The defining shift for this seat in 2026 is governing AI-augmented and agentic delivery as an operating-model change, not a tooling upgrade. Analysts are blunt about the gap between activity and value: roughly 88% of organizations use AI regularly, yet only about 39% report enterprise-level EBIT impact, so most of the value is still on the table. Scaling agentic work is expected to overwhelm the traditional software development life cycle, because delivery moves from deterministic to probabilistic services and adoption outpaces existing controls. The VP is the person who keeps that transition governed, funded, and moving from pilot to production.
The value this person brings is dependable delivery at enterprise scale with AI-augmented operations kept auditable and aligned to the business — enough discipline to avoid becoming part of the roughly 40% of agentic initiatives Gartner expects to be canceled by the end of 2027 over escalating costs, unclear value, or weak risk controls, while still capturing the upside of human–agent teams delivering at scale.
We are seeking a seasoned technology-delivery executive who leads through other leaders — someone who has owned large multi-program portfolios and is comfortable answering for outcomes, commercials, and organizational health in the same breath. They pair executive presence with genuine delivery credibility: fluent in a boardroom, but equally at home in a delivery review pulling apart a slipping milestone. They have carried the number, defended a margin, and rebuilt a team that was underperforming.
This is an executive profile that partners across engineering, PMO, product, sales, customer success, finance, and increasingly the AI/platform function. It suits a leader who treats vendor and platform partnerships as ROI commitments rather than promises, and who can reskill an existing workforce while empowering human–agent teams to deliver. The engagement model is hybrid with travel across delivery sites, and the role may involve mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or North America depending on the client. The person we want is decisive under ambiguity, commercially astute, and able to build alignment at scale without slowing delivery to a crawl.
A strong candidate for this role has already carried accountability for a multi-program portfolio and its commercial results — someone who has set delivery standards, removed obstacles at scale, and answered personally for both quality and margin. They have run delivery through economic pressure, reset a troubled program, and made the hard call on where to invest and where to stop. They bring the judgment to govern AI-augmented delivery responsibly rather than chase velocity for its own sake.
In practice, the responsibilities break down as follows:
We want to see a leader fluent in modern delivery at scale who understands the technology deeply enough to make sound trade-offs, yet leads primarily through people and process. Just as important, we are looking for someone leaning into the governance of AI-augmented delivery — treating it as an operating-model shift with real cost, risk, and control dimensions, not a slogan. The strongest candidates advise the business on when to apply AI versus other approaches and when to re-engineer a workflow around agent capabilities entirely.

This role is delivered through Solutions Chapter Group's Human Resources chapter (Chapter 12) as a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) engagement, under our Executive Search stream. Rather than a "post-and-pray" marketplace approach, we use a Curated Professional Recruitment model: candidate profiles are pre-vetted in our internal database, and when a required profile isn't already available, our dedicated Scout network conducts global headhunting to secure it. We screen and match candidates against each client's specific requirements, and placements may be remote or an on-site deployment with mobilization to the Middle East, Europe, or the United States.
From a recruitment-fit perspective, we screen for:
Areas to explore at interview *(topics only)*
Enterprise delivery leadership, portfolio & program governance, budget/commercial ownership, org building, AI-delivery governance
Modern Agentic AI / AIOps (niche areas we are seeking — depth explored at interview)
These niche AI areas are seeds we are looking for; depth will be explored during the interview process.
